If you’ve never heard of Command Master Chief Dave Cooper, it’s because you weren’t supposed to. Recently retired from the United States Navy in 2012, Mr. Cooper is one of only a handful of SEALS in military history to hold the title of Command Master Chief for the Naval Special Warfare Development Group. More important than any position he might’ve held, is his 25 years of service as a US Navy SEAL (19 in the prestigious Naval Special Warfare Development Group). During that time, he pursued some of the world’s most wanted terrorists and successfully executed some of the most significant Special Operations missions in the history of the US Military. In this intimate showcase, Mr. Cooper will talk about how he created, lead, and sustained the most high-performing teams the world has ever known. Using unclassified anecdotes from the hundreds of missions he executed, he’ll regale you with stories of special-operations leadership—including both successes and failures—that rarely if ever made the news. He will walk you through the decision-making cycle for dangerous missions executed on the other side of the world, not for glory, but for the safety of the very people who will be listening.
